Bad thinking. Short Essay
To not think is almost impossible to do. Even in your sleep, you think in a form of dream. To tweak and adjust our thinking is preferred, moreover, desirable.
That being said, there is nothing more silently harmful than isolated thoughts. It eats you alive, killing one hope on a slightest mindless second.
When I said almost impossible, it means there is hope. Hope to have a slice of eternity where you can choose not to think: hack your autonomic nervous system.
Hold your breath for five. Exhale the warmth that you've been holding. Slowly. Inhale. Feel the invisible exchange of temperature from your exhalation. Use your abdomen to expand your chest.
The only time where we can banish bad thinking is to admit that first, is is there, then we mindfully set those thoughts aside and think of what we normally don't think about.
